Minor Song: The user has only minor control over their chosen element. They cause the light in a small area to strengthen or dim, and the same with shadows. They can temporarily blind with short bursts of light and can use the shadows to cloak themselves, though they become visible if they move. They can exhale short bursts of colored mist.

Harmony: The user's range when it comes to manipulating light and shadow has increased. They can also now see in total darkness or in typically-blinding brightness. Illusions do not effect them as they do other wolves. They can speak to others' Essences and the user's own shadow.

Essence
An Essence is, more or less, a companion that shares its soul with the wolf and takes the form of a small animal - rabbits, ravens, and the like are quite common. They can speak and reason just like a wolf, but usually only their owner, others owning Essences, and those possessing certain magics can understand them. They can only be a short distance from their owner. They die when their owner dies* but not before - they themselves cannot be killed and possess incredible self-healing abilities, even able to regenerate lost limbs over long periods of time.

* = if another of your wolves already owns an Essence, it can be passed onto a newborn for the small fee of 40 Musice Notes. In this case, the Essence will live on with its new owner even if its former passes away.
