The existence of Grise Caverns isn't common knowledge, and those who do know about it tend to keep it a secret. About halfway down the side of Argent Fissure is a feature that looks like no more than a scrape in the side of the mountain - though if one looks closer, they'll find a splinter of darkness that suggests some small creature's den inside. If this curious wolf is lithe enough and decides to investigate, they'll find a very tight, low-walled tunnel that, after several yards and a few hairpin turns, widens into a long cavern. Stalagmites and stalactites decorate the top and bottom, and greasy-looking patches bioluminescent moss cling to the walls and offer a little light. Water dripping from the stalactites feeds a small pool of water that, while it tastes metallic, will keep you alive. Occasionally a blind rat might scurry by, but what they feed on is unclear. Another tunnel is at the far end of the cavern, but few are willing to explore the dizzying labyrinth of forked paths and sudden, lethal drop-offs. In the past, Grise Caverns has been used as a hideout for renegades, exiles, and the like.
